It's much easier for an individual to make an influence on another individual than for that individual to impact society as a whole. Ah, the pre-class chatter. A social experiment could be conducted with the conversations conjured. My favorite is the troubled soul who explains odd stories to some other student who's visibly uninterested.

So the thought is: Is it ironic that a student in a communications class can't communicate effectively?

There is no definitive yes/no answer to anything. There is no black/white issue. There's always a gray area. The only topic where there's a definitive black/white answer to is the fact there are no black/white issues. Except pregnancy - you're either pregnant or you're not.

Is it one's obsessions that limit his or her vocabulary, or the vocabulary that limit the obsessions?
